    Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made from SOLA ("we", "us", "our") by the consumer ("you", "your"). By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth below, which are established in accordance with applicable Swedish and EU legislation.

    1. Company Information

    SOLA
    Org.nr: 9603178683
    Email: info@solashop.se
    Registered in Sweden.

    2. Products & Availability

All jewellery items sold by SOLA are handcrafted and made to order. Product descriptions, images, materials, and specifications are provided for informational purposes. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify products without prior notice.

While we strive for accuracy, minor variations in colour, texture, or appearance may occur due to the handmade nature of the items.

    3. Pricing & Payment

    • All prices are stated in SEK, with the option to view approximate prices in EUR, USD, and GBP. Prices in SEK include Swedish VAT for customers within the EU.
    • Prices for customers outside the EU exclude VAT; additional customs duties or taxes may apply upon import and are solely the customer's responsibility.

We reserve the right to adjust prices due to changes in material costs, currency fluctuations, or typographical errors. Payment must be completed at checkout through the available payment methods.

    4. Order Confirmation

Once an order has been placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel an order in cases of technical error, suspicion of fraud, or if product information was incorrect at the time of purchase.

    5. Production Time

Because all items are made to order, please allow up to 4-8 weeks for production before dispatch. During peak periods, production times may be extended.

    6. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is carried out via PostNord. Delivery times vary depending on destination (Sweden, EU, or outside the EU). Once the parcel has been handed over to the carrier, SOLA does not assume responsibility for delays caused by postal services or customs authorities.

Further details are provided in our Shipping Policy.

    7. Bespoke Orders

Bespoke and custom pieces are developed in collaboration with you and are subject to the following terms:

Consultation & Estimate. We discuss the design, materials, and stone options together, and I provide an estimated project cost.

Deposit. A 50% deposit is required before production begins.

Prototype. Once the deposit is received, I develop a prototype based on your request. The prototype is shared for your approval before production proceeds. Upon approval, casting and final production begin; from this point, changes are no longer possible without additional cost.

Final Payment. The remaining balance is calculated based on the actual production cost.

    • Custom pieces are often developed from or inspired by existing SOLA designs and may share elements with previous or future work.
    • Custom pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or refunded once production has started.
    • Production timelines are indicative and may vary depending on complexity and workload.
    • I rely on the information you provide; delays in feedback or approval may affect the timeline.
    • Any adjustments requested after completion may incur an additional cost.
    • SOLA reserves the right to document and share the piece as part of our work.

    8. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

In accordance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen), consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the order, unless an applicable legal exception applies.

    • Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
    • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and for ensuring that the parcel is trackable.
    • SOLA reserves the right to assess the condition of returned items and any applicable reduction in value in accordance with applicable law.

    Bespoke & Made-to-Order Orders

Bespoke and made-to-order pieces may be subject to different cancellation and withdrawal rules where permitted by applicable law.

A customer may cancel an order before completion. If SOLA has already incurred costs specifically related to the order at the time of cancellation, these costs may be deducted from any deposit or payment received. This may include materials purchased, production or casting costs, and work already carried out specifically for the order. Any remaining amount will be refunded, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Full details are provided in our Return Policy.

    9. Complaints & Defects

If a product is defective according to Swedish consumer law (Konsumentköplagen), you have the right to file a complaint. Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered, and no later than three years from the purchase date.

If the complaint is approved, SOLA will repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with applicable legislation.

    10. Customs, Duties & Import Fees

For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes, and additional fees may apply. These charges must be paid by the customer and are not included in product prices or shipping fees.

    11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Information collected during checkout—such as name, address, contact details, and payment information—is used solely to manage and deliver your order.

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except when required for payment processing or logistics.

Full details are provided in our Privacy Policy.

    12. Intellectual Property

All content on the SOLA website, including product images, designs, text, and branding, is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without written permission from SOLA.

    13. Limitation of Liability

    SOLA is not liable for:

    • Delays caused by postal or courier services
    • Delays caused by customs processing
    • Losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete address information provided by the customer
    • Indirect or consequential damages

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights under Swedish or EU law.

    14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall primarily be resolved through dialogue between the customer and SOLA. If no resolution is reached, consumers may contact:

    • ARN (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) in Sweden, or
    • The EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform for cross-border disputes.
